MASSIMO NORDIO

Born in 1947 in Venice, the city where he lives and works.

In 1980, after experimenting with cinema and photography, he collects twentieth-century Venetian glass. He then provides the photographs for a series of definitive monograph of modern glass at Murano. In early nineties he devotes himself utterly to research and free-lance production. In 1996 he assists Roger Selden in creation of the glass panels at tha sinagogue in Milan.

His works are included in the annual selection of the Corning Museum of glass in 1998 and in 2000. His pieces can be found in Museo Vetrario, Murano, Glass Kunst Museum, Dusseldolf, Museo delle Arte Decorative Glass Art Center, Paris, Daiichi Museum, Nagoya, Japan, CorningMuseum of Art, New York and the Chrysler Museum of Art, New York.
