Inspired by the layered backdrops of vintage theater sets, the Contourage Console Table appears carved from wood—but it’s something far more radical. Made from 93% quartz sand using a pioneering 3D printing technique and a renewable, bio-based resin, this electric blue console challenges Scandinavian design conventions with bold material innovation. The table’s form plays with symmetry and asymmetry, while wood-grain-like textures emerge from the deliberate direction of the 3D print. Lightweight, hollow, and fully recyclable, it redefines sustainability in luxury design. Finished by hand, the surface retains the natural tactility of sand while achieving an exceptional level of refinement.
