KLAUS MOJE

Born in Hamburg, Germany in 1936 Klaus Moje began his career as a glass cutter and grinder in the early 1950s at the family workshop. Throughout the 1960s & ‘70s Moje continued to explore and create glass sculptures, and eventually immigrated to Australia in 1982 to become the founding Head of the Glass Workshop at the Canberra School of Art. He has pushed the technical and expressive possibilities of glass for over five decades.
